Timing occurs {happens} in seconds (SSS,ms). On the display all over again it is visible return readout of time (timer), and after start - click manually buttons "START" or crossings of a light beam joins a stop watch. Time of the timer and a stop watch if necessary can be stopped and again to start.
At the main window there is a current date and time, 2 title lines, the display of time, data of the chosen participant, norm of time for a route, and also the report of competition. For management of the program there are buttons: "Load the starting or kept report", the timer of readout of time, START, "H/F" - for stopping and continuing of a stop watch, a gong, a pause and continuation, +4, +6 seconds of correction of time, +/-4 penalties for mistakes, STOP, Not started, has descended {gone}, Eliminate, ENTER, NEXT (RESET), buttons for preservation of the report in the form of a text file, in formats Word, Excel, HTML or Toris, print, open in Word, in Excel, save as web-page, remove and a television regimen.
2 text weeding (title) are intended for deducing {removing} the information
any external television device for spectators (for example, for the name and
a place of carrying out of tournament). It is possible to connect the additional
monitor, the TV, the big screen or a projector to a computer.
The external device shows also the penalty for mistakes on a route and a current
place after click on "INTO". The recommended sanction for the external
device 800:600 (1,33 / 4:3) or 720:576 (1,25) Pxl. At a diagonal of the TV of
67 cm and the sanction of the monitor 800:600 figures of time in height of 16,5
cm, and at 720:576 height nearby 19 cm. "Default-Monitor.reg" - for
restoration of the basic window if adjustments {options} during the test {dough}
are brought down.
!!! Button "NEXT" (00:00) is desirable for not pressing at once (10 seconds a delay) that spectators had time to see time, points and a taken place of the participant.
You can change all signatures at a window of the program having changed independently
words in a file "All-Language-Translate.xls" or at once in "Yours
Language.lng", having opened its text editor. At any changes in installations
the program is better for closing and starting again.
At work with the timer two modes are possible {probable}: at installation of
a flag under the button the participant is automatically excluded after 45 seconds.
If CheckBox it is noted, after 45 seconds the stop watch joins is not dependent
on that or the horse has crossed a starting line.
"The penalty in time " automatically pays off from early the established
{installed} sizes in a window of "Installation". The size of correction
of time is entered by a key (look section of „Combination of keys")
or click of the mouse on the corresponding {meeting} button of a window of the
program. Correction (addition of seconds by time of the display) is possible
{probable} only at a stop of a stop watch.
The penalty for mistakes on a route from +3 up to +8 can it is brought and during movement of the sportsman on a route and after finish. All penal points or seconds should be entered into the program before pressing button "BRING". By its pressing results of the participant are entered all in the minutes. At once there is an automatic distribution in places. If the participant is excluded, it is located in the end of the report in alphabetic order with a mark "EL". Behind it {him} the sportsmen who have descended {gone} from a route and behind them not was on start settle down.
Real time for a route in the report is entered for the control, but does not influence an end result.
In the program installation is not stipulated and it does not demand the rights of the manager. To start it it is necessary from a hard disk of a computer.
Before purchase you should check up carefully the test version which shows only a few results. After reception of a registration code no money does come back any more. You can to do {make}, certainly, copies, to distribute and advise the program further, but we ask you to not give, to not borrow {lend} and to not sell the program to the third party.

Here necessary installations are made:
It is possible to load the created starting report into the program as a text file, Excel or TORIS.dbf.
In the text editor the starting report needs to be created in sequence: starting
or a serial number of the participant, number of a head of a horse, a nickname
of a horse, a name of the horseman and the name of a team {command} having divided
{undressed} their tabulator, instead of a blank. The order of columns cannot
change. If the horse does not have number in the starting report it is necessary
to enter "0" though the horse should has starting number.
Your own names of columns (the first line) will be transferred {carried} to
the report; therefore it is necessary to name at once all 11 columns. Records
in first five columns of the report can be corrected {adjusted} double click
of the mouse.
Data of following columns (columns) in the report cannot be changed manually:
real time, the penalty in time, correction of time, the penalty for mistakes
on a route, all (the sum of all penalties and points), final time and a taken
place.
For change of penal points and time the report it is necessary to keep, change
all over again txt a file and to load in a new fashion into the program. However
the place thus automatically will not change. It is necessary to appropriate
{give} independently it {him}, therefore: "all over again to check up,
and then TO BRING!“
It is repeatedly possible to load into the program only the report kept as a
text file, therefore it is recommended to keep in parallel always the report
as a text file.
In the report of the participant it is possible to remove, pressing of the right button of the mouse noted line. There will be a menu „Line to remove".
Names of fields and columns (column designations):
Real time = real spent (elapsed) time
for a route (itinerary);
TP = the penalty for excess of norm of time;
Correction = the applied correction of time;
For mistakes (points) = the penalty for mistakes and disobedience on an obstacle;
Total = total points (faults or seconds);
Time = total final time / result.
Examples of calculations of penal points / seconds and general {common} time

The table "A":
Points = for time + for mistakes;
Time = real time + correction.
Distribution of places all over again on points, and at identical quantity {amount} is compared time. If also time is identical, the identical place (an example look on German page) is appropriated {given}.
Example of calculation "For time":
Norm of time = 90 sec.;
1 point for everyone beginning 4 sec.;
Real time = 94,99 sec.;
For time = 2.
Gun laying method „B/C":
The same calculation, as in the table "And", only here instead
of norm of time is maximal time of a route. Achievement of maximal time conducts
to exception of the participant (manually). The penalty in time in installations
it will be necessary to expose "0" differently these points to increase
to the general {common} points.
Real time = time - correction!
Table "C drive":
The penultimate column in this kind of competitions should refer to correctly
not "Time", and "Result" and sorting in places here only
by result.
Result = real time + the penalty in time (0) * + correction + the penalty for mistakes .
The general {common} mistakes = for time + for mistakes .
*The international federation of equestrian sport (FEI) has cancelled the penalty for excess of norm of time at refereeing competitions under the table With in installations it is necessary to establish {install} 0 penal points for excess of norm of time or 999 seconds norm of time (in view of the rules!).
But in national rules of Germany there is a norm of time with different calculation:
a). Each above permitted standard second = 1 time mistake;
b). IF (real time> norms of time), THEN
In time = (real time - norm of time) * 0,5

Light beams are connected to USB through COM2USB the adapter or is direct to
free COM port. For hardware realization it is necessary to connect contacts
1+4, 4+6 or 7+8 (RS--232/9) (www.stopwatch.de >> FAQ >> Lichtschranken).
Check of work of contacts by a writing paper clip.
For example, contacts START = 4+6 and STOP = 7+8:
1) Algorithm "On" for a light beam (the circuit is connected):
+ All contacts to close;
+ To press the button the Timer;
+ Contacts 4+6 to separate => time will start to
run;
+ Contacts 7+8 to separate => time will stop.
2) Algorithm "Off" (a starting pistol or a gate, i.e. a circuit it
is broken off):
+ To start the timer;
+ Contacts 4+6 to connect => time begins run;
+ Contacts 7+8 to close => a stop watch will stop
time.
IMPORTANT AT CARRYING OUT OF COMPETITION TO LIGHT BEAMS:
Round buttons about START and STOP are created by a number {line} for activation
and blocking of crossing of light beams (at prompting by a mousy it is possible
to read through signatures). Red - the light beam is blocked, "green"
- contact of a light beam is possible {probable}.
It is necessary to not forget to activate beams before finish since differently
time will not be stopped, but it can be calculated later independently from
the additional list "Contact of a beam" in a window where records
even if beams are blocked are done {made}.
In the program probably also to take time only one light beam (driving on a
circle).
We recommend use of the qualitative equipment for higher accuracy. In external
switching-off of beams there is no necessity as they are disconnected {switched-off}
by means of the program.
Whether can stir {prevent} other programs to the program?
Yes. Timing in a computer has the highest priority, but it is not recommended
to be switched during timing to other appendices.
Whether it is possible to use an old personal computer?
Beginning {Starting} from Pentium133 and Win98 time is considered correctly.
On older computers we did not test the program. But we recommend W2k / XP.
Whether it is possible to load the kept report into the program?
To load into the program again it is possible only the report of competition
in a format *.txt. Files doc, csv, xls to open only with MS Word/Excel if MS
Office it is established {installed} on a computer.
What is included into the complete set of delivery?
Only our software (files: EXE, the help, doc for Word, Default-Monitor.reg,
examples of creation of starting lists, Language.lng, etc.). A computer, stereo
speakers, the printer, light beams and supports, monitors or the big display,
and other we do not deliver horses.

How all occurs {happens} at competition?
After the horseman cause on start and it leaves on a floor {field}, the main
judge gives a signal in a bell (gong). This moment joins return readout of time
from 45 seconds (sometimes from 60 seconds). During this time the horseman freely
moves on a field and can cross a line of finish in any direction and a line
of start in the opposite direction. Crossing of a line of start in a correct
direction means the beginning of movement on a route and inclusion of a stop
watch. If the horseman has not time to cross a line during established {installed}
time it , depending on edition of rules, either is excluded, or the stop watch
joins. For the unforeseen reasons readout can be interrupted and started again.
Though corrected this moment do not regulate, but after a stop of the timer
the judge, it is better to begin readout from the beginning, instead of from
the moment of its stop.
The horseman moves on a route, overcoming various obstacles. The trajectory of movement twisting enough also can on cross some times both a line of start, and a line of finish. For mistakes on a route to the horseman penal points are added.
Under the table "A" it is 4 penal points for mistakes on obstacles and 1 penal point for everyone 4 begun seconds of excess of norm of time in the basic route or for each begun second in a repeated jump (additional competition for definition of prize-winners). Under the table "B" it over 3, 4, 6, 8 penal points for mistakes on obstacles and 0,25 penal points for each begun second of excess of norm of time in the basic route or for each begun second in a repeated to jump.
Under the table “A" it 3 or 4 penal seconds which are added by real time. Excess of norm of time is not punished, but the horseman is excluded, if will not finish a route for 120 or 180 seconds.
Stop watches stop at crossing a line of finish after overcoming last obstacle. During a finding on a route for the different reasons the horseman can be stopped. Stop watches thus also stop and in some cases established {installed} by rules, by time 4 or 6 seconds of correction of time are added. Sometimes time can be corrected in the smaller party {side}. The size of correction in this case is defined {determined} by the main judge.
In some competitions which have legal proceedings under the table A or B, sportsmen, are distributed {allocated} in places depending on the typed {collected} penal points, and at equality - on the best time of passage of a route. But it is frequent sportsmen with identical quantity {amount} of penal points take an identical place if have kept within norm of time. In these competitions for definition of the winner additional competition - a repeated jump on the truncated route is spent. It is obvious, that in the final report there can be a little, for example 5 sportsmen on 4-th place. The following sportsman will borrow {occupy} 9 places. The excluded sportsmen borrow {occupy} places after finished a route, behind them descended {gone}, behind them not was on start.
In competitions which have legal proceedings under the table C result of the sportsman the sum of time spent for passage of a route (it is natural, with correction of time) and the penalty for mistakes on a route is. Concurrence of places for this competition is improbable.
